Art in the Park!
The recent Art in the Park, organized by the Friends of Catalina State Park, netted over $5000, all of which will support park programs. Watch for next year’s art sale in March 2026. It will be bigger and better than ever. If you have artwork that you would like to donate to next year’s sale, please contact the Friends group at [email protected].

Music in the Mountains
Concerts are held on the first Saturday of the month – and sometimes on the third Saturday of the month as well!
Come out and enjoy an evening of music at the Trailhead with standard park admission.
Bring a chair, and your own food and water to enjoy these concerts that are supported by Friends of Catalina State Park.
Please note: Concerts will be cancelled during severe weather.

Bird Walks
The many trails in the park provide great opportunities to see birds. In addition, there are regular bird walks from October into April led by local experts.
Bird walks are held each Wednesday and Sunday. Meet the leaders in the Trailhead parking lot at 7:30 AM during March and 7 AM during April., no reservations required. After April, the walks will be suspended until October.
