Thank you for your interest in adopting a saguaro at Catalina State Park. Many people have adopted saguaros – people like Susan Giamportone from Indiana who wrote, “Thank you so very much! What a wonderful service you provide in offering a novel but so very meaningful way to honor the gorgeous saguaro as we also honor those whom we love!”
Below are pictures of the saguaros that are available for adoption. There are separate “galleries” for each of the trails and also for the Park Entrance. If you click on a saguaro, you will see a description and the GPS coordinates. If you want to adopt a saguaro at Catalina State Park that is not pictured below, please contact us. We would be happy to help you adopt any saguaro at the park. “Adoption fees” support projects and activities at Catalina State Park. In case you’re interested, you can read about saguaros here, and here .

Etiquette: When adopting a saguaro at Catalina State Park, please remember:
- The saguaro is fragile.
- It is a protected plant.
- Do not leave the designated trail to get closer to the saguaros. This can cause damage to the area as well as kill any baby saguaros that may not be visible at first glance.
- Do not leave anything at, on, or near the saguaro.
- Do not deface or permanently mark the saguaro.
